Hi Everybody
Please find below the provisional results for yesterdays XC at Croft, as
usual if you find any mistakes please get in touch.
Many thanks to Robin Rutherford, Darlington Harriers, marshals and officials
for braving the elements to provide an excellent meeting which was well
signed and marshalled. The changing weather conditions throughout the
afternoon also made the competition that little bit harder, with the senior
men getting the better of the weather. Well done to all you hardy athletes.
I will send out the cumulative scores later in the week.

Some of you may be aware that the meeting at Flatts Lane has been cancelled.
To clarify the position regarding this cancellation, New Marske Harriers
feel they are not in a position to support the fixture and have therefore
cancelled the meeting. We are currently looking at an alternative venue for
the 15th January date and I will keep you updated when things are finalised.

Regards

Sid

Scarborough NYSD Cross Country

Hi All

Please find attached the provisional results for yesterday's XC at Scarborough. I apologise in advance for any misspelt names but I had a bit of trouble with some of the writing (must be old age catching up)Let me know if you spot any mistakes.I will send out the cumulative points totals later in the week.

Thanks to Mick Thompson and Scarborough A.C. for hosting the meeting. Mick sends his apologies regarding the problems with the ladies toilets, there were several requests made to the staff to have the toilets opened.

There seems to be some confusion regarding the under 11 races, under 11s need to be given a number and recorded on the declaration sheet. Their finishing positions and times will be included in the results but there are no points awarded, any prizes are at the discretion of the host club.

A pair of Asics XC spikes were found near the finish area, if the owner gets in touch I'll arrange to have them returned.

The next meeting is at Summerhill, Hartlepool on the 13th November, I'll send out the details as soon as they are available.

Hope to see you all there

Regards

Sid Rudd (NYSD XC sec)

Please find link below for the results for yesterdays XC at Acklam, as usual if
you find any mistakes please let me know.
Thanks to Mike Cotton and Middlesbrough & Cleveland Harriers for hosting the
meeting, an excellent course and we didn't get wet this year.

Regarding the incident with the under 17 boys, which resulted in some of the
athletes taking the wrong course, after discussions with the meeting referee
it was decided that the result will have to be void and no points awarded.
On behalf of Mike and Middlesbrough & Cleveland I would like to apologise
for this regrettable mix up.
I should also point out that it is the responsibility of the team managers
and athletes to familiarise themselves with the course and the number of
laps required. We will be looking at ways to prevent this kind of thing
happening again in the future.

The next meeting will be at Scarborough (Olivers Mount) on the 23rd October,
I will send out details as soon as they to hand.

Finally can I remind clubs of the NYSD AGM which takes place this Wednesday
(12th)

Regards

Sid Rudd (NYSD XC sec)
