Dom Shaw wins at Thirsk

As Andy Wiles and Richard Morrell argued about who had the best hat, Dom Shaw battled through the mud for 5 laps for a good win. Tom Danby came home in 10th followed soon after by Mark Gamble-Thompson in 12th.  Along with Andy Sugden, Bob Currie and Jame McHugh the men came 3rd in the team competition.  Kath Aspin lead home the ladies in 9th, with Katie Coulson 12th, Sarah Rogers 13th and Jean McHugh in 32nd giving a good 2nd team place not far behind a strong Loftus team. In the junior races Patrick Wilson was 4th in the U13 boys with Josh McMillan 5th, Hannah Raine being one of the youngest had a good run in the U13 girls.   Charlie Pasco was 2nd in the U15 boys and Hannah Kitchener following a good battle with Louise Taylor from Scarborough came 2nd in the U15 girls. Wayne Parker kept up with Dom Shaw on the 1st lap of the mens race and came 3rd in the U17 boys.
