The winner will be the competitor in each class with the highest total of points.
-
- As an example of the calculation of an individual’s score, in a race where the winner had a time of 37:41 or 2261 secs. A competitor with a time of 51:28 (or 3088 secs) would score basic points of 2261 / 3088 x 100 = 73.
- In the case of a man aged 39 he would score 73. However if he was aged 49 at the start of the year the correction factor would be 0.9404 the age adjusted points would be 73 / 0.9404 = 77
- In the case of a lady aged 39 she would score 73. However she was aged 49 at the start of the year the correction factor would be 0.9263 the age adjusted points would be 73 / 0.9263 = 78
