New Marske Harriers Results Database & Scoring System
Only events entered in the New Marske Harriers web based results database will be scored, as the scoring system is built in. League results will be entered by the administrator; however the facility for athletes to add other performances (subject to verification) will be available.
The New Marske Harriers Scoring System calculates a percentage score against the GRADE 1 for each event and age group (using AAA’s Grades for 2010). For veteran athletes, the score is calculated using the senior grade, but modified using WAVA Age Factor tables for the relevant event. The Grade 1 table has been extended to include events for Under 11’s (1kg Shot, 60m/70m, Long Jump and 600m), for some other common events and for veteran throws and hurdles with different equipment specifications.
