A hot night awaited the runners at the Maybeck Three Crosses. 6 New Marske runners took part with Mike Smith coming home first in 10th Place, 3rd in his category, Kay Neesam was the pick of the ladies again in 27th place, 3rd lady with Kath Aspin not far behind in 30th, 5th lady. Shelli Gordon had been positioned between Kay and Kath but tweaked her ankle near the half way point and dropped to last place. However she bravely fought on to repass the final Scarborough counter and clinch the ladies team prize for New Marske. Ronnie Sherwood came home in 46th, 1st in class again and Nick O'Grady in 55th. Kay is the leading woman in the series so far with Ronnie leading the over 65 category. Next race Cock Howe on 20th July.
