What could be better than to spend a May Bank Holiday morning running on the scenic hills above Chop Gate.  Sat in the car park with thunder, lightening and hailstones I could think of many things to do other than trying to take decent photographs.  The weather cleared for the start of the race which for the first mile was straight up hill.  A circular route followed across the moors and back to Chop Gate. 6.6 miles 1175ft.  A heavy sleet shower greeted the runners as they turned to head home from Head House.  Kay Neesam was 4th Lady (29th) followed by Kath Aspin 5th Lady (32nd).  Ronnie Sherwood came in 48th (1st M65) and Nick O'Grady 53rd. Casper the dog came 5th and even had time to pose for a photo!
